Krauss Peggy II, 24 x 36 mm with coupled rangefinder

Dimensions: 38 x 75 x 136 mm

Weight: incl. 2 cassettes 680 g

Accessories: 2 cassettes, exposure table, instructions, teaching book, lens cap, tripod head, panning rail.

Especially important:

the special Compur-shutter of the Krauss-Peggy works automatically from 1/1000s down to 1/10s, 1/5s, 1/2s and 1 second which is extraordinary meaningful. More: the shutter release knob is on top of the camera housing, nearby the center, therefore the exposure is soft and shutter free through a gentle finger touch. Weight and size of the Krauss-Peggy are so, that the camera rests unusually firm and safe in your hands. The rangefinder is coupled with the setting of the lens. The eyepieces for the viewfinder and the rangefinder are in regular eye distance, which brings a maximum on shooting speed. By turning the settings disk with the index finger of your right hand the distance is measured and the lens is set accordingly.

From this the enormous advantage of the Krauss-Peggy  results: the firm and safe rest in free hands and the smooth release of the shutter allows an up to now unusual use of long times without a tripod. With the Krauss-Peggy you are able to make discreet shots in regular electric light with 1/2s or even 1s without a tripod, which are not jittered at all.
